Another Happy Guest, A Great Start to 2016

Excellent. We had a welcome e-mail from the owner straight after we booked which gave us directions; and further e-mails before we arrived, including one telling us that the owner had seen the weather forecast and had been to the property to put the heating on so we had a warm place to arrive.. There was a welcome pack; milk in the fridge, biscuits and a bottle of wine, as well as a box of tissues - all things which made us feel at home. The apartment was immaculate; and the beds were very comfortable. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, welcoming and considerate.
It's just a short walk to the beach (best UK beach again this year) and we enjoyed many walks.
We would happily recommend this apartment to anyone.

Just read  in our visitors book...
 Had a fantastic time, love the apartment and the personal touches. Highly recommend the Cliff Top Cafe in Lynton for a cream tea, they are huge. Its been the prefect holiday; great place to stay with everything you need, the kids loved the games, beautiful beach and amazing sunsets from the balcony. Thank you so much! Family May May 2015

'Not sure whether to be proud or embarrassed that this is the 4th visit to Devon Beach Court in 5 years. We have had a great holiday from start to finish, the apartment is just as we remembered. Would recommend the Boardwalk, Bar Electric and the Tides Inn for lovely food and a great Sunday lunch plus the authentic, homemade Sri Lankan curries on Barricaine beach, just opposite the apartment. Take a long a bottle and a picnic rug and you are set for the night! Had a fab day out at the Big Sheep, fun for everyone. Thank you again for the delicious cream tea awaiting us. Woolacombe has just been voted top beach in the UK, 4th in Europe and 13th in the world by TripAdvisor’s Traveller Choice Beaches Awards!!



Country Life magazine has done a survey and Devon has come out as the best place ot live. So come and visit and see why!
It has found out that those living in the county enjoy a better qualityof life than anywhere else in the country.
The magazine rated each county on how they performed across 19 categories, including health, schools, environment, heritage and quality of the local pubs.
This was last surveyed  in 2003 when Devon came top again!
Last Week the following was announced
Travellers’ Choice Beaches Award-winners were determined based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings for beaches on TripAdvisor gathered over a 12-month period.

Woolacombe Beach in Devon has beaten beaches in Italy, Greece, Thailand and Costa Rica to be named fourth best beach in Europe and thirteenth best in the world in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards for Beaches.
Backed by sandy hills and the Woolacombe Downs, Woolacombe Beach boasts a three-mile long stretch of golden sand and rolling, unbroken surf which makes it the ideal hotspot for surfers.
